Homework for week 2.
I do believe I have created a Bloglines account. Yipee...
It seemed simple enough.
I'm not sure about subscribing to the newsfeeds though. All I did was tick some boxes (the ones that interested me) and clicked on SUBSCRIBE. And yes, I did read through the tutorial, steps 1 - 3 in which there was a lot of copying and pasting to do...so I think I must have got lost somewhere along the way.
Anyone out there who can help me? :)

Remember you can always mail or call your friendly digital services folks via manukaulearn@gmail.com, we're here to help! Plus it's always interesting to look at other people's news feeds :)
What a divine sunflower - did you grow it yourself. I am so much more interested in sunflowers than blogs but without this blog I'd never have seen this impressively gorgeous flower. In the Rangitikei which is a fairly ho hum sort of area, just as you are about to fall asleep on state highway one coming in to Bulls, you come around this corner and WHAM there is this huge paddock full of tall vibrant sunflowers and they fill you with a sense of wonder and love for the world!
After much clicking, ticking, saving and mouse-handling, I think I have finally completed discovery exercise 2 i.e. subscribed to 10 newsreads and created a public bloglines account ... phew!
Despite myself, I found it all quite interesting, in the way that a knotty thread has to be undone or a piece of food stuck in a tooth simply has to come out.
Who knows, I might start enjoying this, though I don't know if there are enough hours in my day or enough space in my mind for all this "socializing" and seemingly endless sources of information!
Hi again Sunny ...Beyond the Sky and Earth is by Canadian teacher Jamie Zeppa who goes to Bhutan to teach for a year in a rather isolated village. Its a beautiful lyrical love story about the people and the land of Bhutan and her relationship with both. I won't say anymore in case you decide to read it but throughout the book the call of Bhutan is compelling, and even though I haven't been their yet it is definitely on my list of must visits. Enjoy!
